The Warren Park Eagles Atom selects participated in the Can/Am Montreal Challenge Cup tournament last weekend, and came home with a silver medal and the tournament’s Fair Play award for their troubles.

After a 1-1 tie against the Avenue Road Ducks, the Eagles followed up with another 1-1 draw against the Markham Waxers, and then an 11-1 victory over the Junior Engineers from Troy-Albany, New York.  That set up a rematch with the Waxers in the final, which resulted in a hard fought 3-0 loss.

The silverware did not stop there. Warren Park’s Gabriel Vincent was runner up in the shootout competition with Scott Maich as the runner up among goalies. The skating relay team of Isabelle Burkhardt, Eric Schreder, Samuel Moreau and Nolan Ferguson finished in second as well.  Warren Park also earned the tournament’s Fair Play Award, incurring the fewest penalty minutes in their age group.

They are looking forward to upgrading their silverware at their next tournament!
